Essential Duties and Responsibilities: ➢ Responsible for Load Out operations ensuring maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company. ➢ Meet and greet farmers and truck drivers with professionalism. ➢ Unload corn and alternative feedstocks from truck and rail cars. ➢ Load Fuel Ethanol, SDA’s, Standard Grade Alcohol, and High-Grade alcohol into truck and rail cars as orders dictate. ➢ Load Dried Distillers Grain onto truck and railcars as orders dictate. ➢ Maintain DDGS Building and grains receiving building as needed. ➢ Safely move rail cars on the plant site as necessary to facilitate effective receiving and shipping. ➢ Required to receive training and demonstrate the capability to operate the equipment. ➢ Assist Maintenance with repairs of receiving and shipping equipment. ➢ Complete any and all tasks assigned by Supervisor. ➢ Responsible for keeping CIE grounds maintained properly, mowing the grass in the summer, spraying weeds, and plowing/shoveling snow in the winter. ➢ Participate in programs and procedures to ensure plant cleanliness. Complete weekly cleaning as part of the CIE FFSC program requirements. ➢ Be available for overtime as needed. ➢ Maintain and enforce all safety policies and procedures. ➢ Maintain a TEAM environment with all plant employees. ➢ An employee with any known allergen including, but not limited to, nuts, gluten, livestock, penicillin, etc. shall make it known to CIE after a conditional offer of employment.
Job & Skill Requirements ➢ High school diploma, GED, and related experience and/or training. ➢ Ability to problem solve and have attention to detail. ➢ Demonstrated self-starter. ➢ Maintain a high initiative ➢ Strong customer service orientation. ➢ Maintain a good attendance record and work ethic. ➢ Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Physical Requirements The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands, climb ladders and stairs; stoop; kneel; crouch; bend; push, and pull. The employee must be able to lift and/or move 50 pounds and push/pull 120 pounds. Due to the need for climbing and working in high places the person cannot exhibit signs of acrophobia.
