This role will partner with our current team of world class Talent Acquisition Partners and our local bioprocessing teams. This role is responsible for full life cycle recruiting activities, managing key talent acquisition programs and technology and most importantly managing the candidate experience from attracting and engaging talent through pre-boarding.
The ideal individual for this role will have a high drive and sense of urgency, excellent communication skills, and a passion for talent recruitment in the biofuels industry.

Own full-cycle recruiting; focusing on partnering with hiring supervisors to define recruitment strategies, assess external/internal candidates against business needs, and apply interviewing techniques to assess for culture fit and knowledge.
Coach and influence hiring managers to make effective hiring decisions and maintaining a high level of communication.
Gather, analyze, and present information related to the supply/demand of talent, the labor market and compensation hiring trends, new sourcing avenues, and other relevant market data to help influence effective results. Track, create, and analyze internal metrics on key recruitment processes.
Build, communicate and execute effective sourcing strategies and use research techniques such as direct sourcing, data mining, and networking to identify and attract quality candidates both internally and externally.
Manage the candidate engagement, while providing a positive experience and maintaining responsive communication, showcasing POET as the preferred employer to our candidates throughout the recruiting process.
Adhere to and provide guidance on internal/external employment laws, regulations, compliance standards, and HR policies and procedures related to maintaining compliance throughout the selection process.
Collaboration amongst our People and Culture team and business partners to understand the organizations talent strategy position, identify gaps, and build short and long-term recruiting strategies/initiatives.
Utilize POET’s ATS (Applicant Tracking System) to the company's advantage, create and manage job requisitions, and assist with upgrades or new module implementations.
Create and maintain job descriptions, written in an appealing format to attract top candidates.
Manage POET’s pre-employment background check and pre-employment testing process to ensure compliance, consistency and efficiency.
Advise hiring managers on POET’s relocation and mobility program including housing resources, relocation vendors, and team member experience to ensure POET’s program is competitive and supports the goal of attracting top talent.
Partner closely with the Talent Scout and key stakeholders to support proactive recruitment initiatives which may include; attending career fairs, networking events, posting job advertisements, sourcing candidates, coordinating informational interviews, researching recruitment trends, etc.
STRENGTHS OF A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE
Bachelor’s Degree required; preferably in the area of Human Resources, Psychology, or Business. Consideration will be given to candidates with a H.S. Diploma or Equivalent if the experience requirements are met.
3+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience is required, displaying a deep understanding of the recruitment function.
Demonstrated ability to connect with people in the skilled trades field.
Experience with relationship management, especially building and maintaining effective strategic partnerships with internal customers.
Experience building, communicating, and executing recruiting strategies that attract the best talent for the job.
Proficient computer skills – MS Office, social media, ATS systems (iCIMS is a plus), and relevant job boards (Indeed and LinkedIn are a plus).
Recruiting experience in manufacturing operations and skilled trades roles is strongly preferred (24/7/365 operations).
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
