U.S. Grains Council – Director of Global Ethanol Market Development
International market development organization based in Washington, D.C. is recruiting a director of global ethanol market development for its Washington, D.C. office. This position is responsible for providing direction to and management of the U.S. Grains Council’s worldwide ethanol strategy and marketing plan activities. This position will oversee the execution, implementation and post evaluation of ethanol activities and projects that are carried out globally. This position is based in Washington, D.C.

Minimum requirement is a bachelor’s degree with preference given to those holding a degree in agriculturally related field including international relations, marketing, business or economics. Experience with and knowledge of the U.S. ethanol industry is required. Experience working with stakeholders in the ethanol industry as well as government agencies is also a plus. Minimum of five years of supervisory experience combined with international market development and work in a multi-cultural environment is preferred. Ideal candidate will be detail oriented and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Must be a team player with exceptional collaboration and communication skills with strong skills in prioritizing and decision making. Must also be able to quickly pivot and adapt as the organization’s strategic direction evolves.
