Sales Account Manager-Fuel Ethanol Industry
The prospective candidate will have extensive experience and understanding of the ethanol process.
The sales account manager will interface with current and prospective customers implementing and servicing customers and specializing in plant optimization through CIP maximization of the entire ethanol process. This will include the selling of proprietary chemicals utilized in CIP as well as other specialty chemicals used in cleaning. The successful candidate will possess extensive business sense and sales experience. The candidate will be skilled at developing strong relationships by understanding the customer's technical needs and challenges. The individual will be energetic, self motivating, a self starter, and comfortable communicating with all levels of the plant management, from in-plant personnel to upper management.
A minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Biofuels, Chemistry, Marketing or related field
Minimum 5 years experience in the ethanol, corn processing, or biofuels industry
Experience working directly with customers in a sales and technical service role
Experience and ability to work with multiple levels of plant personnel from operators to senior management
Extensive travel primarily within Midwest region (no weekends)
Build relationships within the fuel ethanol industry
Service existing customers and find new opportunities through innovative sales approach
Develop and implement account plan through marketing strategy
Solve customer issues and expand sales
