Are you an ethonal, food, beverage, or dairy manufacturing/ plant sanitation expert with the ability to drive results for a global Fortune 500 Company?  Join Ecolab's industry leading food & beverage team as an Account Manager for the fast-growing Grains, Oils, Biofuels and Sugars market segment.  We are boosting operational efficiency, increasing quality and enhancing sustainability in this dynamic market.  We provide cleaning and sanitation solutions to Grain, Oil and Biofuel environments through a dual focus on sales and technical service/ consultation to new and existing customers.  As strong business partners, Ecolab works with customers to develop sanitation plans and programs, evaluate processes and procedures, troubleshoot technical issues and identify and implement operational efficiencies.

Candidate should live in the Midwest; ideally the Northern half of Iowa. 

 

What you will do:

  • Build a solid understanding of Ecolab product offerings, plant operations, customer business objectives, and applicable government regulations
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations on Ecolab's innovative products, equipment and services
  • Provide industry expertise to customers in terms of CIP cleaning, safety, quality and operations; including assisting with cleaning plans and programs, standard operating procedures, evaluating processes and procedures, identifying and implementing operational efficiencies, and employee training
  • Develop strategic work plans for completing sales and service/ consultation calls with new and exsisting customers, including quantified validation of customer business value and impact to operations
  • Communicate effectively with all levels of plant staff; build strong business relationships and networks
  • Manage Ecolab product and equipment; participate in equipment installations and plant start-ups, observe and test equipment and product performance, repair or adjust equipment, adjust chemical concentration levels, monitor product inventory and place orders

Basic Qualifications:

  • Completed high school diploma or equivalent
  • 5 years experience in ethanol, food, beverage or processing/ manufacturing environment or 2-5 years selling into manufacturing environment in technical sales
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
  • Willingness and ability to work varying hours
  • Willingness and ability to travel by car throughout a geographic territory, including periodic overnight travel
  • No Immigration Sponsorship available for this opportunity
